Kindergarten classes in Wan Chai and Central & Western districts will resume tomorrow, the Education Bureau announced today.
Principal Assistant Secretary for Education Sophia Wong said during a press conference that, as primary and secondary school classes had resumed with fewer late-for-school cases, the bureau decided to allow kindergarten classes to resume, also.
The bureau has reminded schools to deal flexibly with teachers and students who are late or absent from classes.
District Officer (Central & Western) Cheryl Chow said at a press conference that road blockages had seriously affected residents and businesses in the district.
District Officer (Wan Chai) Angela Luk added that the noise problem is a concern because the protest area is near residences.
