Sport for all

Sport for all:  Recreation and sports facilities will be open for free use on August 3.

Sport For All Day set for August

July 06, 2014

Recreation and sports facilities will be open for free use on August 3, and free recreation and sports programmes will be held to mark the 2014 Sport for All Day.

As the FISAC-IRSF World Rope Skipping Championships 2014 final will be held in Hong Kong on that day, Sport For All Day will have rope skipping as its main theme and "Stay active! Rope skipping keeps you fit!" as its slogan.

Free recreation and sports programmes to be offered will include rope-skipping demonstrations and participation activities, and parent-child sports programmes. Enrolment will commence on July 14 at 8.30am at District Leisure Services Offices or designated venues in the 18 districts.

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department's fee-charging leisure facilities including badminton courts, tennis courts and basketball courts, will also be open for free use. Bookings can be made at the Leisure Link booking counters on July 27 from 9am onwards.

Call 2414 5555 for enquiries.
