Chief Executive CY Leung says he hopes useful discussions can be conducted during legislators’ upcoming Shanghai visit.
Speaking to the media today, Mr Leung said he has relayed requests concerning this weekend’s trip to the Central Government, such as the pan-democrats’ request for a separate meeting with officials.
He added the trip presents a good opportunity for legislators to discuss matters of concern, including those related to Hong Kong’s constitutional development.
Detailed arrangements will be left to the Central Government to handle, he added.
