CE calls for reform communications

Chief Executive CY Leung today appealed to all Legislative Council members to use available platforms to air their views on constitutional reform, and to seek consensus.
Mr Leung was speaking to reporters before this morning's Executive Council meeting. He said a breakfast meeting this morning for lawmakers which Central People’s Government Liaison Office officials attended was such a platform to facilitate exchanges of views.
A Shanghai trip next month for all LegCo members is another important one, he added.
The Hong Kong and Central governments are working together on the visit’s arrangements, and will try to accede to members’ requests as far as possible.
