The Development Bureau today launched a YouTube page showing video clips explaining the northeast New Territories development areas project.
The clips feature Secretary for Development Paul Chan, Under Secretary for Development Eric Ma and Director of Lands Bernadette Linn highlighting the project’s advantages and the pressing need for it.
They explain the reasons why the Government cannot meet the demand for "no removal and no demolition", and outline rehousing and compensation arrangements for eligible affected residents.
Housing Society Chairman Marco Wu also shares his views on the project.
The bureau said it hopes the clips boost public understanding of the project.
