Secretary for Labour & Welfare Dr Law Chi-kwong conducted home visits in Yuen Long today under the Celebrations for All project.
He visited elderly residents and needy families, offering them gift packs to share the joy of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s 20th anniversary.
He later visited the Mr & Mrs Liu Lit Mo Child Development Centre in Tin Shui Wai to observe its training services on speech therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.
Dr Law also met the parents of children receiving therapy at the centre.
He said the Government is committed to facilitating the healthy development of children with special needs.
Dr Law wrapped up his visit by meeting Yuen Long District Councillors.
