Seat showcase:  Artist Patrick Ng (third right) introduces his art seats to Secretary for Home Affairs Lau Kong-wah (right) and Director of Leisure & Cultural Services Michelle Li (second right) in the "City Dress Up: Seats • Together" project.

Starting from tomorrow, 20 sets of innovative seats will be displayed at venues across Hong Kong’s 18 districts, offering a fun and unique outdoor experience for the public.

Visitors can see the artsy seats in parks, waterfronts, leisure areas and playgrounds.

The project "City Dress Up: Seats • Together" is presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department and organised by the Art Promotion Office.

It is part of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's 20th anniversary celebrations.

Speaking at the opening party today, Secretary for Home Affairs Lau Kong-wah said the specially-designed seats not only bring artistic elements and vibrancy to the city, but also showcase the characteristics of the respective districts.
