Chief Executive CY Leung has asked Chief Secretary Carrie Lam to meet Federation of Students representatives to discuss constitutional development.
Speaking to the media tonight, Mr Leung said the Government received an open letter from the students asking to meet Mrs Lam to discuss political reform.
Mrs Lam said she will contact the students to arrange a meeting as soon as possible.
Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam and Secretary for Justice Rimsky Yuen will join Mrs Lam to meet the students.
