Chief Executive CY Leung has urged people to express views on constitutional reform in accordance with the Basic Law and National People's Congress Standing Committee decisions.
Speaking to the media before an ExCo meeting today, Mr Leung said the Government has sought the views of different groups of people ever since the consultation began.
Breakfast meetings with lawmakers will be held next week to hear their ideas, he said.
The Government will continue to listen to different views, he said, adding he hopes people will express their opinions in a practical and peaceful manner.
He reiterated that all views heard during the consultation will be included in the final report which will be submitted to the Central Government.
