Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam says the Task Force on Constitutional Development will continue to adopt an open attitude and listen to all proposals, adding it is too soon to comment on particular submissions.
Speaking to the media after attending a Kwai Tsing District Council meeting today, he said it would be premature at this stage of the consultation to say whether a proposal is consistent with Basic law provisions.
He said he needed time to carefully read the proposal an organisation put forward last night.
