Chief Secretary Carrie Lam has reiterated that the Government has adopted an open and accommodating attitude to push forward universal suffrage.
Speaking to the media after attending the Hong Kong Velodrome Works Completion Ceremony today, she urged the community to continue reform discussion based on the Basic Law and the National People's Congress Standing Committee’s decisions.
She said all government agencies are working together on next month's Policy Address, to outline the Chief Executive’s policy objectives.
She urged people planning to participate in public events to do so in a lawful manner.
