Industrial, commercial, professional sectors hailed

Vice-Premier of the State Council Li Keqiang today praised the industrial, commercial and professional sectors for contributing to Hong Kong's development.  
 
Accompanied by Chief Executive Donald Tsang, Mr Li spoke during a tea gathering with some 30 representatives from the sectors this evening.  He was pleased to listen to their views on advancing financial, economic and commercial ties between Hong Kong and the Mainland.
 
He thanked the sectors for their contribution to Hong Kong’s development.
 
Also in attendance were Chairman of the National Development & Reform Commission Zhang Ping, Minister of Commerce Chen Deming, Governor of the People’s Bank of China Zhou Xiaochuan, Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council You Quan, Director of the Hong Kong & Macao Affairs Office of the State Council Wang Guangya and Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Hong Kong Peng Qinghua.
 
Financial Secretary John Tsang chaired the gathering. Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan and Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So also attended.
 
Donald Tsang and his wife later held a dinner gathering for Mr Li at Government House, attended by Chief Secretary Henry Tang, John Tsang and Secretary for Justice Wong Yan Lung.
