Terms of Reference

1. To standardize and co-ordinate the practices of Trade and Industry Department and the Government Approved Certification Organizations in certification matters; and
2. To advise the Director-General of Trade and Industry on any matter relating to the operation of the Hong Kong Certification System, with a view to maintaining and enhancing the integrity of the system.
